Apropos our report of Press controversy concerning the quality of 2¥A’s transmission, the following wire, received by the general | manager of the Broadcasting Company last jweek, is of some ‘considerable interest, as -it is the first comment from a listener outside Wellington:- — "Apropos ‘Grid Bias’ and reception from 2YA, particularly on Tuesday evening last, when Hon. Coates broadcast, the speaker was perfectly received here. For modulation, élarity and all-round transmission the Dominion’s premier station was ideal in performance, | Listeners see through the hole in the metaphorical ladder of which
‘Grid Bias" is a biased: rung.
