After an appropriate announcement, Liszt’s symphonic poem, "Les Preludes," will be played, followed by the message specially recorded by the great inventor for the people of New Zealand. "The Long Day Closes" and Sousa’s march, "The Stars and Stripes," will conclude the musical portion of the station’s tribute, which later in the evening will be appropriately voiced by Dr. Guy H. Scholefield, who will speak on the international work and worth of the man who is entitled to rank in the memory of the nations as the world’s greatest inventor.
