Kookooburra on the Air
HE short-wave broadcasts of the call of the kookooburra from 2MHB, Sydney, are exciting some interest in the States. A listener in Chicago says that one morning he was enjoying 2MB when the milkman passed under his window. He switched over to the speaker to let him hear. It was amazing to watch the expression on the milkman’s face as he listened, and he was absolutely staggered when he heard the announcement at the finish.
