Auckland Notes HH service conducted in St. Mary’s ‘ Cathedral will be broadcast, the preacher being Canon William Fancourt, and the organist and choirmaster Mr. Edgar Randall. In the after-church concert Miss Doris Grant Cowan, mezzo-soprano, is making her first appearance at 1YA. This young lady is a very talented musician, and on this programme she is singing several very fine songs with orchestral accompaniment. Mr. Len. Barnes, baritone, will be heard in several numbers, and Mr. Cyril Towsey, studio pianist, will again delight Hsteners with his artistic solo work. The Salon Orchestra, under Mr. Harold Baxter, will present several orchestral selections. They have included in their items "L’Arlesienne Suite,’ "Waltz" from "Der MPledermaus," and "La Traviata" selection. From Wellington tHE service to be conducted in the Terrace Congregational Church by the Rev. H. W. Newell will be broadeast. Mr. Harry Brusey will be the organist and choirmaster. Afterwards, there will be a relay of the concert to be given in St. James Theatre by the Wellington Municipal Tramways Band. ‘ 3YA Features of Beto service in St. Albans Methodist Church, Christchurch, will be broadcast. The preacher will be the Rev. W. Rowe, with Miss Clarice Bell at the organ and Mr. W. Simpson as

choir master. Afterwards 4YA’s studio concert will be relayed. Dunedin Notes [THE Rey. D. ©. Herron will be the preacher in Knox Presbyterian Church, Dunedin, when the service will be broadeast. Mr. ©. Roy Spackman

will be the organist. In the afterehurch concert Miss Myra Stokes, contralto, Mr. Sidney Kershaw, baritone, Mr, J. Kennedy, tenor, will support Madame Reggiardo’s excellent instrumental sextet. Handel’s beautiful

"Verdant Meadows," "The Three Holy Kings," and "When Shall I Marry Me," will be sung by Miss Stokes. Mr. J. Kennedy’s numbers include "On Wings of Song" and "I Hear You Calling Me," while Mr. Sidney Kershaw is to present the prologue to "I Pagliacci," "Men of Harlech," and "By the Light of the Moon." Mr. Palmer, of the sextet, will play a ’cello solo, "Berceuse," from "Joselyn." All the orchestral items will be of a bright nature, the programme including Weber’s "Peter Schmoll," "Godard’s "Mazurka No. 2," Schumann’s "Traumerei," a Chopin nocturne, a Spanish pastorale, and "Lallah," an Hgyptian intermezzo.
