Mr. Martin, whose clever and artistic accompaniments of vocalists and instrumentalists have been the subject of much commendation, has been heard often from 4YA. Almost every artist of note who has visited Dunedin has availed himself (or herself) of Mr. Martin’s services, and all have stated that they have never been _ better served. He is the first Varsity student in Dunedin to take the degree of Mus.Bac. He is a gifted composer, and his setting of Keats’s "Ode to a Grecian Urn" was given its first public rendering at a recent farewell concert to its author, earning the com-. mendation of all erities.
