New Schedule. , A COORDING to the latest information to hand from the General Electric Company, Schenectady,. New York, their short-wave stations are now working on a new schedule, as follows :- W2XAD; 19.56 metres, relays WGY daily: from 7.80 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.,.and ou . Mondays from 5.30 a.m. to. 7.30 a.m. W2XAF, 31.48 metres, relays WGY daily from 9.80 a.m. to 3.80 p.m. (all N.Z. imes). ’ , . XDA Broadcast News Service, ?YVHH 'Trens News Service, of 43 Colon Street, Mexico City, broadcast frou station XDA. Mexico City. A New Short-waver. A NEW short-wave station working ou about 25.6 metres, with the call letters, YV4BV, or YV4VV, is located at Valencia Venezuela. .They broadcast nearly every day from 12.30 p.m. to 4.80 p.m., our time. . , : French Short-wave Station. THE new Frenh Colonial station works on three wavelengths; 19.68, 23.20 -and 25.63 metres. ‘They can’ be heard every morning from 8.30 a.m. on 25.63 metres, often. on 25.2 metres at the same time. ‘The address for reports. of reception is "Min‘*tere de Poste Telegraphies te des Telephones, Service de la Radio Diffusion, 103 Rue de Grenelles, Paris." Stranger on 49.6 Metres. A FOREIGN station has been reported on about 49.6 metres, about half-way between WS8XAL and W9XF. The language, according to one_ listener, was thought to be Spanish. The most recent report was for Saturday, August 29, when this stranger was well received till 6.45 .m., at which time they closed down. as anybody identified this new shortwaver? South America appears a lkely place. Moscow Short-wave Stations. HE station heard every morning, aud reported as REN, is the short-wave station of the Central Home of the Red Army. The wavelength is given as 45.3S metres, power 10 kw. The Trade Union short-wave station. working on 50 metres, has a power of 20 k.w. There is another station working on 41.75 metres, with the lower power of 1.5 kw. ,
