1YA Items HW speaker on the international programme at 1YA will be Dr. B. P. Neale, secretary of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. His subject is "Some Aspects of International Trade."
Notes from 2YA aD concert will be of-the popular type. The Melodie Four will delight listeners with an excellent selection of solos and quartets, outstanding among which will be two solos by Sain Duncan, tenor, "Macushla" and "Passing By." Wally Marshall will be heard in "Rocked in the Cradle of the Deep." The quartet numbers will include "Timbuctoo," "Little Alabama Coon," "Last Night," .and "I Love You Truly." Featured on‘ the programme will be Merle Miller, who will be heard in four songs with orchestral accompaniment: "Angel’s Serenade," "Coming Home," "The Garden of Your Heart" and "My Hero." The Salon Orchestra will supply the incidental music and selected electrical recordings will be included in the programme 4YA Selections TJNDER the auspices of the W.H.A., Mr, Lloyd Ross will speak from 4YA on "The Passion Play." Handel’s famous oratorio "Judas Maecabaeus," which is to be presented in the Dunedin Town Halli by the Dunedin Choral Society, will be The soloists will be Winnie Fraser, Molly Vickers. R. A. Mitchell, and F.
Benton, with a. boy soprano,, Lex McDonald, who will sing "Hear My Prayer." Alfred Walmsley is conductor of ‘the choir, with Dr. V. EH. Galway as organist.
