From Auckland DURING the afternoon listeners will hear some of the numbers to be played by Mr. Maughan Barnett, city organist, in the Auckland Town Hail. The divine service from St..Matthew’s Chureh will be relayed at 7 p.m., the: preacher being Canon Grant Cowan, and the organist and choirmaster Mr. J. H. Philpott. After the service a studio concert will be presented, during which two quartets will appear,..the Savoy Male Quartet and the Whisker Instrumental Quartet. Both these eombinations are already well known for their artistic performances. Notes from Wellington of pets) evening service in the Vivian Street Church of Christ will be relayed. The preacher will be Pastor W. G. Carpenter, and the organist Miss Hazel Hunter.
