From 1YA pam. afternoon programme will in- ‘ clude a short relay from the Town Hall, where an organ recital is to. be given by Mr, Maughan Barnett. The service in Pitt Street Methodist Church, eonducted by the Rev. W. Walker, will ‘pe broadcast in the evening. Professor W. A. Moore will be the organist and choirmaster. The after-church studio eoncert will be contributed to by well known 1YA -artists. Items from Wellington (THs evening service to be conducted in St.. Andrew's . Presbyterian Church will be relayed, the preacher being the Rev. R. J. Howie, B.A., and the organist and choirmaster Mr. Frank Thomas, At 8.15 p.m. a concert by the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Band, under the conductorship of Mr. Harry Baker, will be relayed from the De Luxe Theatre. Notes from 3YA (THE Children’s Song Service and the ‘ evening’s church broadcast will be conducted. on relay from the Baring Square Methodist Church, Ashburton. The -preacher will be the Rev. G. B. Hinton, the choir conductor Mr. H. A. Humphreys, and the organist Mr. John Corbett. In the interlude between the gong service and the church service, an organ recital will be given by Mr. Corbett. At 8.15 p.m. a concert to be given in His Majesty’s Theatre, Ashburton, by the Ashburton Silver Band, yor be relayed to 3YA, and also to A. ; ¥ a
