Auckland Notes ROM 1YA Mr, Norman Kerr will continue his series of talks on "Physical Culture."

Miss Evelyn Robinson, a wellknown contgalto from Wellington, will make an appearance at 1VYA this evening. Her numbers include "BRaster Flowers" and "Alleluia." Another new artist to 1YA is Mr. ‘Trevor Binns, a young humorist, who is sure to please his listeners, The Orchestral Octet will be playing several numbers, including "The Hvolution of Dixie" and the suite "Musie Pictures." The programme will conclude with a lecture-recital on the latest gramophone recordings. 2YA Features HCORDED features from overseas broadeast entertainments will comprise 2YA’s evening entertainment, From Christchurch (TROTTING results will be broadcast during the afternc on. ; The evening concert programme will be of the popular miscellaneous type. The Studio, Octet will provide the accompaniment to Mrs, Agnes Cunninzham’s mezzo-soprano solos: "Absent," "Somewhere a Voice is Calling," "Fairy Pipers," and "Home, Sweet Home." A series of tunes, one of them being the "Stein Song," will be played. by a new banjo duo, Messrs. J. N. Havord and M. George (two excellent performers), accompanied by Mrs. Louis Bloy. The Mascots will act two sketches. The programme by the Studio Octet under Mr. Harold Beck will include the "Romantique Overture’ (by Kela Bela), "Coronach," selections from "A Country Girl," and the suite, "Three Dale Dances." From Dunedin "THE, afternoon talk, to be given by the Home Science Wxtension Department of Otago University, will be on "The Dining Table and Table Service." At 7.15 pm. Mr. James Begg will speak on "Handling of Stock for the Freezing Works." Both talks are under the auspices of the 4YA Primary Productions Committee, An exceptional concert has been arranged for the evening, starring Margherita Zelanda (coloratura soprano), Miss Mary Pratt (contralto), Mr. Arthur Macdonald (baritone), Mr. Max Scherek (pianist), and the Instrumental Trio.
