A series of talks by the Sunlight Health League will shortly be giver at 8YA, Y Mr. Karl Atkinson, ‘well known to’ 1YA listeners for his lecture-recitals on gramophone. recordings and who is now on the head office staff of the Broadeasting Company at Christchurch, will be heard from 3YA on Friday, May 1. The theme of his talk will be "The.Lure of the Waltz." Professor Zimmerman, who recently delighted SYA listeners on his first appearance at the Christchurch station as a violinist, is to give another recital on April 30. His items will have orchestral accompaniment. The next lecturette by Mr. Te’ Ari Pitama at 3YA' will be on "My People." The Bailey-Marston Dance Orchestra is shortly to give a vaudeville programme at 3YA. On Anzac Day a service to be held in the Christchurch Anglican Cathedral will be broadcast. Mr. Frank Milner, C.M.G., Rector of Waitaki High School, will be the speaker.
