From Auckland Me. REG. MORGAN'S popular: orchestra will provide the instrumental portion of this evening’s pro-

gramme, the items including a violin solo by Mr. Gar. Fowler entitled "Hyngarian Dances," a saxophone duet by Messrs. C. and V. Hoffman, "La » Golondrina," and several dance numbers. : F Miss Joyce Seth-Smith (mezzo-sop-rano) will be heard in a _ group of classical ballads. Mr. Claude H. Suisted (baritone) is also singing "Red ~ Devon by the Sea," "I’ll Sing Thee Songs of Araby" and "Can’t You Hear Me Calling?" The Snappy Three are making a welcome reappearance on this programme in several of the latest hits. Wellington Notes A LECTURETTE entitled "At Work at the Headquarters of the League of Nations" will be given by Mr. B. S. Harston. The vocal numbers for this evening’s programme will be accompanied by the Orchestrina. Mrs. A. P, Truda (soprano) will sing "Indian River Song," "Waiata Poi,’ "Jhelum Boat Song" and "Wake Up." Mr. Denis: Sheard (tenor), late of the Humphrey Bishop Company, will include among his numbers "I Hear You Calling Me," "When I Go Home," and "Dreams ‘of Long Ago." Also on this programme will be two performers already known to 2YA listeners, Mr. Billy Hart, (whose songs at the piano are al- ways enjoyable) and. Mr. Lad Haywood (exponent of mandola and mandolin:) These two artists have combined forces, and should prove very acceptable in instrumental and vocal items with piano, mandola, and ' ulkelele.
