Wellington Notes ‘AT 7.40 pm, Mr, H. ©. South will : give his fortnightly talk on "Books-Grave and Gay." The vocal portion of the programme will be undertaken by Signor Lucien Cesaroni and his talented company, who will provide a splendid variety of numbers, many of them with orchestral accompaniment, Signor Cesaroni will sing "Bedouin Love Song," "Star of Eve," "Song of the Flea," "Macushla," and "The Calf of Gold." The Orchestrina’ will also combine with Miss Phylliy Hanify, pianist, in presenting the First Mevement of Grieg’s "Concerto in A Minor" and will play "Valse," by Mischa Levitski, which has not previously been broadcast. From Christchurch [HE monthly review of books will be given by Mr. H. H, Wiltshire, president of the Linwood Library. The Christchurch Muncipal Band, under Conductor J. Noble, and assisting artists, will provide the evening’s concert. The band will present a wellvaried programme, including, in view

of this being the eve of St. Patrick’s Day, Ord Hume’s "Gems of Irish Melodies," and the old favourite, "Londonderry Air." Dunedin Notes A PROGRAMMD of light music will be provided by Pettitt’s Sextet. The items will include selections from "The Cabaret Girl," Country Girl," and "Katinka."
