"THE British Broadcasting Company maintains "a _ specially-equipped motor-van for the purpose of relaying commentaries on events of general interest taking place anywhere in. the country. .The van may draw up at any post office telephone line ‘point, and in a matter of a few minutes can be connected through to the controlroom of the London broadcasting: stae tion, and thence to any B.B.C, trans mitter in Great Britain.
