Wellington ‘Features Two songs by Strickland, "At Eve I -heard a Flute" and "My Love is a Fisherman," with Stanford's "Soft Answer" and: Quilter’s "Over the Mountains" will be sung by Miss Gwladys Hdwards at 2YA, Three contralto songs will be-contributed by Miss: Evelyn Robinson. Mr. Denis Sheard, tenor, late ‘of the Humphrey Bishop.Company, will sing "Serenade" (Schubert), "The Garden of Your Heart," "Nita Gitana" and "Love, here is My Heart." The programme to ‘be provided by the 2YA Orchestrina, under ‘Signor A. P. Truda, will be of a high standard. I¢ will comprise the "Egmont" overture (Beethoven), a selection "Romeo and Juliet,’ Mozart’s Symphony "Jupiter," the "Rhapsody Russe" and the Waldteufel Vaise "Soiree d’Ete." ce During the evening: there will be a ten minutes’ relay of an organ recital to be given in the St. Gerard’s Redemptorist Church by the- talented organist, Mr. Henry Mount. From Christchurch NOTHER of the very popular openair band concerts featured this summer will be broadcast. It will be provided by the Woolston Band and 3YA artists. AYA Items A NEW vocalist in the person of Miss G. M. Parry will appear on 4YA’s programme, She will present three well-known ballads-‘Out of: the Deep" (Martin), "Open ‘the Gates" (Knapp), and Sanderson’s "Beyond the Dawn." Miss Parry has a rich contralto voice.
