Wellington Notes: HIS evening being the 119th . anniversary. of the birth of Charles Dickens, excerpts from the works of the famous writer have been included in the programme. Mrs. Nellie Gruttenden and members of the Dickensian Society will present-Scene from "Bleak House," "Mdlle. Hortense Visits Tulkinghorn," and a. seene from. "Oliver ‘Twist,’ the "Thieves’ Kitchen." , ot The Melodie Four have selected a fine and varied programme, and the Salon Orchestra under Mr. M. TT Dixon will be heard in incidental music, : 3YA’S Programme Miss CICELY AUDIBERT, .soprano and versatile entertainer from the professional stage, will be singing this evening. Her recital’ will comprise four songs of a light nature.
