Mr. Davies's Retirement

ME. IVAN M. LEVY, president of the Amateur Radio Society of. Wellington, writes :- "With regard to the retirement of Mr. J. Davies from the directorship of 2YA, I seek this opportunity to state’ that the members of my society have always regarded Mr. Davies with the kindliest feelings and appreciation. His unfailing courtesy and tact and his capacity to cope with the difficulties which inevitably beset the path of a broadcast station director stamped him asa man of rare qualities. As a foundiztion member of the Radio Society d as an office-bearer, I was in fre(Ment touch with Mr. Davies ever since his appointment as station director of 2YA, so that I came to know him for his true worth. As president of the Radio Society I wish Mr. Davies all success and.happiness in whatever sphere his endeavours may be directed in the futuré."
