I don’t know his working hours. for certain, but I believe he can be heard from 2.30 p.m. -4,00 p.m. any afternoon, and on Friday evenings from 7-10 p.m, . Identification Wanted ON December 12 at 8.40 p.m. heard two stations heterodyning. One . was 2UB. Could anyone identify the

DX Topics American News. "Bow (Wellington): I have cards from both KEX and KGA. The latter eomes in with good volume, but surges badly. "D.N.A." (Timaru): There are certain letters of the alphabet that sound very much alike over the air. J and K are examples. IZJ is the call you heard. I hold a verification from them. Re reception of WHNR. On dials marked in kilocycles they would be heard above 2BL, and . on dials marked 0-100 below. I received them on: 84 and 2BL 353. My latest "BHkko" stamp is from KFSG Los Angeles, 1120 ke. (268 metres). They broadcast from the Los Angeles Tabernacle. I expect a reply from VUR Ran-
goon any day now.
