2YA Programme ME. H. ©. SOUTH will broadcast his fortnightly book review. The Singing Cirele of the Pioneer Club, together with the Orchestrina, will provide the whole of the concert programme. — The vocal items by the Singing Circle will comprise glees, solos, trios, duet, and quartets. The items to be played by the Orchestrina will include the "St, Hubertus" overture and _ the "Faust Ballet Music." From : Christchurch (ONDUCTOR R. J, ESTALL, of the Woolston Band, has arranged an excellent programme for this evening. The numbers will include two marches, Bilton’s overture, "Napoleon," and Sibelius’s "Finlandia," a fox-trot, a waltz, and the patrol, "Cock of the North." Items by the Broadcasting Trio are also included in the programme, AYA Features A NEW radio performer, Miss Lucy James, a contralto, who has @& voice of refined quality, well under control, and exceptionally suited to the microphone, will take part in the programme. She will sing three delightful songs, "A Dream of Delight," "Over the Moor," and "The Romany Road." Other artists of very high ealibre are also on ‘the programme. The complete instrumental section of this programme will be in the very eapable hands of the Kenz Orpheans, one of the finest popular combinations of its kind in the Dominion. Mr. B. Vinlayson, pianist in this orchestra, is to present a novelty "Chopinata," & modern version of Chopin’s works. Silent day at 1YA:
