SPEAKING from Cambridge recently, Sir Ernest Rutherford, the eminent scientist, addressed a banquet of the Canadian Royal Society in Montreal. The speech was conyeyed to the Marconi beam station at Bodmin, whence it was transmitted to the Canadian Marconi Company’s station at Yamachiche, Quebec, and thus relayed to the banqueting hall. ;
