Miss MURIEL JOHNS, a popular 8YA artist, is to be married shortly and will live in Wellington. Miss Johns may be regarded as one of the pioneer radio artists of Ohristchurch, as she has sung regularly for 2VA since the oneninge of the station.
She was one of the wellknown Joyous Trio, who were popular entertainers at 8YA some time ago. She is now 2 8YA soloist, and is one of the Melody Maids. Miss Johns will broadcast ‘again on Monday, Aug. 25,. and will make her last appearance at 8YA on Sat-
