R. MORRISON (Wellington) reports reception of HKT on Satur-. day, May 17, signing off at 4 p.m. HET is located at Bogata, Columbia. They transmit daily on 48.5 metres from 12.30 p.m. to 5.80 p.m. New Zealand time. Finger-prints by Short' Waves. [HE Berlin and Buenos Aires police ; have recently exchanged fingerprints by means of a short-wave service between Nauen and LOK, Buenos Aires. Reception is described as satisfactory at both ends, the finger-prints being easily identifiable. Short Waves from Rumania. NEW short-wave station is to be erected in Rumania for communieation principally with Berlin, London, and Paris. Power and wavelength are at present uncertain. Important Items from 5SW.
