**QWwitcH" learns from an oversea radio publication that the Chinese language cannot be transmitted by Morse, owing to the fact that the language contains thousands of picture eharacters which cannot be expressed by dots and dashes. The Japanese, however, apparently have no difficulty in Morsing their language.
