Christchurch Air Pageant

N2w ZHALAND’S second air pageant took place in Christchurch on Saturday last under very adverse weather conditions. Prior to the weekend the weather had been beautifully fine, and it was expected that the pageant would be a most. successful one. It was evident, however, when Saturday dawned that it would be handicapped by wet and rough weather, 300 feet up, a very gale was blowing, so strong that many of the big events could not take place. However, the best arrangements that could be made were proceeded with, and the pageant was quite good.. ~ os The whole proceedings were broadeast by 3YA, and from this point of view was most successful.
