MR:

E. J.

BELL

R. BE. J. BELL, who has for some years past been a valued contributor to 8YA programmes as a reviewer of books, will broadcast his final talk on Monday, February 17. Being public librarian in Christchurch, Myr, Bell not only has a great knowledge of books behind him but is the first to be introduced to all the latest prints, and he has had a very wide and appreciative circle of listeners, who will much regret that extreme pressure on his time has compelled him to give up the broadcast work for which he has such special qualifications. Mr. Bell is the self-same "Uncle Jack" who was such a popular radio personality with the children a few years back.
