Electric Water Heaters

SUBJECT of some interest to the. trade and the public is the accep tability or otherwise of a certain type of instantaneous water heater. Tho electrical department of the Wellington City Council has hitherto advised against the adoption of this type of heater, on the ground that the sudden load at certain hours of the day would prove very disturbing to the installation, and would involve in practice a good deal of extra expense. This decision has not been fully acceptable to some members of the City Council, who desired that further should be made available from the city where the device was invented. In order to secure this information, Mr. M. Cable, tramways manager and electrical engineer for the City Council, is now paying a visit to Sydney.
