Dan Flood,: the inimitable humourist, th« versatile Snappy Whree and Ingall’s Hawaiians. Messrs. Bert Kingsland and Sid Lewis, two new performers, will be ‘heard in instrumental duets. Both these artists are experts on various instruments, so their items should prove very interesting. .A.young elocutioniste. Miss Moira Cloustor, will again make an appearance. IPUESDAY, Christmas Eve, will see the return to the microphone of the Lyric Quartet, with Allan McEl‘wain in several humorous numbers. That fine elocutionist. Mr. Joe Clark, will give. two Dickens sketches, "Christmas Day, at Bob Cratchit’s" and "The Conversion of Scrooge." The 1YA Instrumental Octet will provide orchestral items, including "Christmas Overture," by Coates. From 10.45 onwards the 1YA Broadeasting Choir wild render Christmas music and carols. N Christmas Day, Santa Claus will speak to the children at 9 a.m. and at 11 a.m. the morning service of St. Msxv’s Cathedral will be relayed. In *he evening, at 7.30, a special Christmas musical service in St. Matthew’s Church will be relayed. The preacher will be Canon Grant €owan. A studio concert will foliow. Contributing vocalists will be Mr. Sam Duncan and Mr. Hartley Warburton. Specially selected records appropriate to the oceasion will be introduced.

PIP ODPS HURSDAY, Boxing Day, will commence at.approximately 11.45 a.m, and during the afternoon the results of the Auckland Racing Club’s meeting will be broadcast. At the evening session the 1YA Instrumental Octet Avill provide the bulk of the programme. Messrs. J. and F¥. Roberts will play: guitar duets and Mr. W. Shepley will contribute a cornet solo, "Good-bye Sweetheart, Good-bye." The vocalists will be Miss Reta MeCullay

(whose singing of Scottish songs is always so popular) and Mr. Stan Pritchard (baritone), while elocutionary items will be given by Mr. Tom Harris. Dance music will continue until 11 p.m. ‘ N Friday, commencing at 11.45 a.m., results of the Auckland Trotting

Mr. Jock Lockhart, Scottish entertainer, of Christchurch, will be performing.

ACING results will again be given on Saturday afternoor, and in the evening session the vocalists will be Madame Mary Towsey, Miss Aimee Clapham and Mr. John Bree. Mr. Tom Garland "will give another of his fireside chats, and the orchestra sill play some very fine numbers. Mr. Lockhart will again be contributing te the programme.
