ANOTHER ‘Island night entertainment has been arranged from 1YA. A few months ago a similar special programme was broadcast for the benefit of the Island people, and it was listened to with rapt attention by a large concourse of natives. At Nukulofa, on December 12, the Rev. R. C. Page, himself a radio enthusiast, will have gathered at his residence most of the native chiefs, who will then have the opportunity of hearing the voice of an old friend, Mr. J. D. Whitcombe, who was a resident of Rarotonga for nearly thirty years.
