Children’s Song . Service HE competition conducted by Uncle George for his young listeners has proved highly successful, not only in the interest displayed by the girls and boys, but also by adults who have generously supported the idea and encouraged the children to. compete. Two hundred and ten entries were received, the essays being of a very high standard, coming from all’ parts of the Dominion. Uncle George wishes to thank through our columns several donors of prizes and gifts of money to the prize fund. In all, £5 was received in cash, and this will be spent in the purchase of suitable books for the winners in each grade. Another very generous donation came from Cadbury’s and Fry’s Ltd., -who have given a large parcel of #lb. blocks of chocolate. The interest displayed in these Sunday services is very wide-spread, and judging by the many letters received is eagerly looked forward tv, week by week, by young and old. Prize-Winners, Grade 1.
