Adjusting Grid Bias
‘ ({ RID bias batteries should never be adjusted with the set switched full on, as damage to the power valve is likely to result. As soon as the grid bias plug is removed there is no check on the anode current, and emission may be lost, thus injuring the valve. When. emission is spoilt, hardly any électrons . are emitted from the filament, and cons sequently anode current and therefore signals, will be weak.
