Royal Male Choir

4YA to Broadcast Concert

ON Monday evening, October 7, the Royal Dunedin Male Choir will be heard on the air for the first time, for the concert to be given in His Majesty’s Theatre that evening is to be broadcast. The Royal Male Choir, which sings under the baton of Dr. V. B. Galway, is a very popular Dunedin organisation, and the greatest of interest will be taken in this broadcast by listeners throughout New Zealand. The choir items will be: "Roman Song of Triumph," "Lorelai," "For Home and Liberty," "Omnipotence," "Come ,Gentle Night," "Phantom Host." The vocal soloists for the evening . will be Miss Rae Stubbs, Mr. J. E. Rr. Bunton (baritone), Mr. B. Paris (tenor). Violin solos will be played by Miss B. Wallace. Among the songs to be sung during the evening will be the negro spiritual, "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot."
