Relay from Waimate
HE people of Waimate, who are celebrating the jubilee of the town shortly, are entering with the greatest enthusiasm into the proposal that one of the week’s celebrations, the concert on the evening of Friday, October 18, should be broadcast. The Mayor, Mr. Geo. Dash, reports that an entertainment, which will be a credit to all concerned, is being arranged. Excellent talent, both vocal and _ instrumental, will be heard.
