Boxing
M organ v. Hughes PROFESSIONAL boxing contest will be held in the Drill Hall, Dunedin, on Saturday evening next, September 28. The contestants will be Ted Morgan, Olympic welter-weight champion, recently turned professional, and Steve Hughes, who won the Otago welter-weight championship a year or two ago. The fight will commence between 8.30 and 8.40 and a description will be broadcast by 4YA.
