3YA Church Service Committee

a: A MEETING of 3YA Church Service Committee was held in the Studio, 202 Gloucester Street, on Tuesday afternoon, June 11. There were present : The Very Rey. Dean Julius, Anglican Church; Rev. T. W. Armour, Presbyterian Church ; Rev. W. Greenslade, Methogrlist ; Rev. J. Robertson, Baptist Church; and Pastor J. Crawford, Church of Christ. Rev. i. W. Armour was elected to the chair for the period ending March 81, 1930. On account of the withdrawal of the Congregational Church, a rearrang@¢: ment of the rota of broadcasts was re#i-"’ dered necessary, and on the motion fof the Rev. J. Robertson, it was decided that two additional Sundays be offered the Presbyterian Church, and one additional to the Church of. England, these services having been voluntarily given up at the time of the arrangement of the previous rota. The question of the advisability of broadcasting Sunday School anniveraries was discussed, the general feeling of the meeting being that: the inclusion of too many of- these special services tended to detract attention from the regular form of’ ‘Shureh serVice. |
