HD Rey. J. Robertson, M.A., will be the preacher at the Oxford Terrace Baptist Church on. Sunday evening, when the service will be broadcast. The organist will be Mr. Melville Lawry, and the choir conductor Mr. O. Murray Jones. To the studio concert which is to follow, the contributing local artists will be Miss Hilda Reeve (mezzo-soprano), Miss Marjory Miller (soprano), and Mr. W. H. Inkster (baritone). ~ Mr. E. J. Bell will give one of his fortnightly book reviews on Monday evening at 7.30. T)ERRY’S Military Band, under Mr. J. Scott, and assisted by 3YA ar~Gists, will provide Monday evening’s rogramme. The band will play a number of old and new pieces and there will be insrtumental music by the Studio Trio. ‘The vocalists will be Miss Lucy Fullwood (mezzo-soprano), Mr. Arthur T. Couch (singing "From the SUTTER EEE,
Land of Sky-blue Waters," and two Maori songs), Mr. Basil Johnson (comic singer), and Mr. J. J. Flewellen (elocutionist). "The Cultivation of Roses" will be the subject for a talk on Wednesday eyening by Mr. Frederick Morse, .an English authority. "THE operatic programme which has been arranged for -Wednesday evening will comprise principally excerpts from "The Dollar Princess." The vocalists will be The Radiolians. There aré many catchy tunes in solo, duet, and chorus form in this musical play. Instrumental music will be supplied by the Bohemian Quintet. At 7.30 on Thursday evening Major Stafford, M.R.C.V.S., will give a talk to farmers and other stock owners. . R. SYDNEY FRANCES HOBEN will give his third pianoforte recital on Thursday evening. He will supplement his numbers with introductory explanatory remarks. His instrumental pieces will include two selec: tions from Moskowski and Jensen’s "Dance of the Hives." Other instrumental numbers will be played by the Studio Trio and by Mr. Harold Beck (cello). HB classical yoeal items on Thursday’s programme will include many favourites. Miss Frances Hamerton will sing "Shadow Song" (from "Dinorah").and two compositions by Ireland, Miss Belle Renaut’s solos will be "Oaro Mio Ben," "Sapphic Ode," and "Woodland Thoughts." Mr. Russell Sumner will, sing "All Hail Thou Dwelling Pure and Lowly" and "Down. Her Soft Cheek." Mr. T. D. Williams has ¢hosen "The rl King,’ "The- Birds of Pas-« sage," and "Slow, Horses, Slow." There will also be two duets and two quartets. ° RIDAY is the night for a popular programme, concluding with a dance session provided-by the BaileyMarston Dance Orchestra. Solos and choruses will be sung by the Valencia Quartet. Among the solos will be "The Hills of Donegal," "A Brown Bird Singing," and "Sally in our Ally,’ "The Norseman’s Song," "The Perfect Day," and "The Deathless Army." There will also be 4 duet ‘and three fine quartets. The Studio Trio will provide instrumental numbers. On Saturday evening 3YA will rebroadcast 2YA.
