Mr. Barnes to Broadcast
[zt will be good news to listeners throughout New Zealand that Mr. Len Barnes, now station director at Auckland, will make his first appearance before the microphone at 1YA next week. Mr. Barnes is a front-rank singer, who has delighted concert-goers not only in New Zealand but in England and elsewhere, and his participation in the special "Shakespeare" programme next week will add greatly to the interest of the occasion. His contributions will include "Credo" (Iago’s song from "Othello"), "Green Sleeves" (the original setting), "Let Me the Canakin Clink,’ and "O Mistress Mine." ,
