The Army Way of Correcting a Radio. Announcement T happened at 3YA. The Christchurch @iarmonic Society was giving a concert in the studio and had supplied its own announcer. He was a military gentleman, quite accustomed to command a squad or a platoon, but he had never before had charge of a microphone, "However, this microphone, like all microphones, was a very tractable one. It responded to every word with remarkable alacrity. It well knew that it was not its place to "reason why," but to do. So, right or wrong, it did.
