Au Revoir to Musician
R. VICTOR C. PETERS, a wellknown Christchurch musician, is leaving shortly for the Old Land in order to further his medical studies. To listeners-in to 8YA, Mr. Peters is best known as choirmaster at the Rev. J. Robertson’s Oxford Terrace Baptist Church. Radio listeners will therefore join with the people of Christchurch in regretfully saying au revoir to Mr. Peters. In‘a literal sense, too, they will take part in a musical valedictory, for a special concert has been arranged for Thursday, April 11, in 3YA studio.
