SOMEWHAT inclement. weather prevented the attendance at the last monthly meeting of the Second District N.ZA.RUE. (Amateur Radio Transmitters’ Association) being up to normal Mr. Johnson (2GA) presided, and following the disposal of the ordinary business a suggestion was brought forward that the association should inaugurate a systematic series of tests with portable transmitters and receivers during the summer months with the object of gaining information as to the most suitable apparatus and
POU eee _location for reliable communication. A considerable amount of discussion ensued and, while no immediate finality was reached, it is hoped to lay down a definite schedule of transmis‘sions at the next meeting. | :
