(THE Marconi Company has just received the British Broadcasting Corporation’s order for the supply of two high-power broadcasting transmitters having an unmodulated aerial energy of 50 kw. These station will be erected at Potter’s Bar, near London, in pursuance of the British Broadcasting Corporation’s scheme for covering the whole of Great Britain with a smaller number of broadcasting stations of a higher power than those at present in use.
