Brown Apples
PEEL, core and slice four or five large apples, put them in a pie-dish and cover with brown sugar. Mix four tablespoons of wholemeal with a breakfast cup of cream, stir well, and add a couple of well-beaten eggs. Pour this over the apples, and bake slowly for half-an-hour. Sprinkle with pows dered cinnamon.
