Women of Norway
ALTHOUGH there are no women’s clubs in Normay, Norwegian women hold posts in nearly all the profes-sions-the Civil Service, as doctors, lawyers, teachers, and in banks, They are paid the same salaries as the men, but they retire -five years earlier and are granted the same pension. ‘The percentage of women who use the vote in Norway is higher than that of men. A well-known judge has ruled that a man need not-listen to his wife’s conversation., ie must be a bachelor judge.
