Behind the Scenes at 2YA

On this and the succeeding page we print a series of unique photographs of the powerful transmitter at 2YA. Hitherto, the only views of this plant that have been published have been front views of the six panels, but readers of the "Radio Record" will now have an opportunity of forming an idea of what the mass of intrieate mechanism behind the front is like. It may also be added that there is a network of conduit and wires beneath the flooring. Au interesting description of the principle of the water-cooled tubes which are used in the transmitter is also given.
