HE service from the St. Andrew Street. Chureh of Christ will be broadeast on Sunday next, when the preacher will be Pastor W. D. More. At the conclusion of this service a band concert will be relayed. MONG the artists contributing to the programme at 4YA on Tuesday evening will be Miss Gwenda Burt (contralto), an artist with a most pleasing voice who will make her first appearance before the microphone. Miss Burt will sing several modern ballad songs. Tenor solos will be given by c Mr. R. Mitchell, included. among which will be "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose." Mr. R. B. Macdonald (baritone) will sing "Song of the Rover:? Miss Nancy Ayson will entertain with elocutionary items from the poems’ of Alfred Noyes, Ella ‘Wheeler "Wileox, and Oliver Wendel Holmes. ~§-As-’ violin solos, Miss Eva Judd has chosen: for Tuesday night "Minuet from. Suite in. D" .(Vieuxtemps) and the "Broken. Melody," by Van Biene. Flute solos will-be contributed by Mr. Maurice Bleakly. Another humorous address on "Ghosts
on will be delivered by Pastor W. D. More on Tuesday evening. A BRIGHT and lively programme is promised for Wednesday evening, when popular songs will be rendered by Miss Jacquelene Burke, Miss WHileen Cooper, and Mr. Norman Seurr. One of Mr, Scurr’s numbers will be "Oh, Doris Where Do You Live?" Mr. Buste1 Brown, the inimitable Scottish comedian, will sing the old favourite "Just a Wee Deoch and Doris" and others of Lauder’s songs. Jazz piano solos will be presented by Mr. T. V. Anson, and Miss Anita Winkel, together with Major F. H. Lampen, will present humorous sketches. Some interesting trombone solos will be played by Mr. hk. B. Tall, including "Flower Song" from ‘Faust,’ "Elizabeth’s Prayer" from ‘""lTannhauser’ and Schubert’s "L’ Adieu." ON Friday evening Miss Dorothy Skinner (contralto), who has many suecesses to her eredit at the recent Dunedin Competitions, will be one of the artists on the studio programme. Mr. Neil
Black (bass) will also be a performer. KLL-KNOWN artists have been engaged for a _ high-class programme on Saturday evening. These include Miss Agnes Guy, n1ezzo-soprano, and Miss Irene KHiorniblow (contralto), who will sing Offenbach’s "Night of Stars’? from the "Tales of Hoffman." Mr. Arthur Lungley (baritone) and Mr. James Ferguson (bass) will also be on this programme. Violin solos will be presented by Mr. Harold Riddle, including Cole’s "Highland Memories." Mr. P. J. Palmer will play ’cello solos and an instrumental trio will be given. Mr. ©. Miller will contribute euphonium solos from the standard composers.
