Burnham, a noted American preacher, who, with his wife, arrived in Auckland by R.M.M.S Aorangi on September 10, is to broadcast from 2YA on Saturday, September 22, a talk on the "Presidential Election in U.S.A." Dr. Burnham is en route to the Federal Conference of the Associated Churches of Christ, to be held in Adelaide in October. He is spending two weeks in the Dominion. Besides extensive world travel in the interests of his church. Dr. Burnham has been active in interdenominational affairs, serving for eight years on the executive committee of the Federal Council of Churehes, during four years of which he was chairman. He is a director of the World Alliance for International Friendship through the Churches, and of the Near East Relief. Dr. Burnham is also a member of the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and president of the Foreign Missions Conference of North America.
