COPYRIGHT DEMANDS
eee AMATEURS WORRIED ONSTERNATION has been caused among Australian amateur ’phone experimenters by the action of the Performing Rights Asso¢iation in demanding copyright fees on all works btoadcast for which they are the owners of the copyright. Amateur stations considered that they were only using musical works, etc., as part of the experiment in hand, and were not receiving any remuneration, and the question of infringement of copyright was not taken into account.
