PORTABLES ON CONTINENT
GAINING IN FAVOUR, ORVABLE sets are gaining greatly | in favour in France, where this type of receiver has lagged behind considerably in popularity as compared with Great Britain. During the special wireless motor races of last year the manufacturers as well as the public awoke to the special needs of this class of set. The same tuing is true, to a large extent, in Germany, where the portable set has been greatly improved, and some new and interesting portable models were shown at the Berlin Wxhibition at the beginning of April.
