ee RECOMENDED POR SYA. A MENTING of the 8YA Church Service Committee was held at the studio last week, the Rey. 1D. Gardner Miller in the chair. There were also present: Ven. Archdeacon IF. oN, Taylor, the Rev. T. W. Armour (Presbyterian), the Rey. Harold) Sharpe (Methodist), Mr. A. R. Iarris, general inanager of the Radio Broadcasting Company, Mr. C. S. Booth (administrative staff), and Mr. J. Slade (station director of 3YA). In accordance with notice, the Rey. TD. Gardner Miller moved: "That it be a recommendation to the company to broadcast once a month a morning service from an Anglican or Presbyterian Church." After discussion, during which Archdeacon Taylor said the Anglican Church would be glad to ayail itself of the opportunity, the motion was earried, and a date was arranged. So far as the Presbyterians wre concerned, the proposal will be referred to the Church Presbytery. The comunittee recommended — that the special choral festival at the Bast Belt Wesley Church on Sunday afternoon, July i. shonld he brondeast, and this was accordingly put on the schedule. The secretary reported the rotation of church services during Juye and July.
