INVENTOR OF RADIO VALVE.
The Faraday Medal has been awarded to Professor J. A. Fleming, inventor of the wireless valve. He was Professor of Electrical Ene gineering in the University of London from 1910 until his retirement in 1927, and has played a notable part in the development of a great many. applications of electrical science.
