WHEN winding coils on formers it is a good idea to insulate then: with paraffin wax. This is done by melting a quantity of good paraffin wax (enough to well cover the former), and leave the former in it for about half an hour, during which time 1t should be baked in the oven. On remoying, scrape the superfluous wax off.
